Over the last 12 years, APANO has evolved from a network of activists to a volunteer-run, membership-based organization bringing together the multi-generational and multi-ethnic leaders in Oregon’s growing Asian/Pacific Islander communities. We thank you who have supported us for so long, and ask that you take the step to formally join APANO with an annual membership starting at $5/year. Members have the right to help set the goals and elect the Board of APANO. Your membership will strengthen the API voice in Oregon civic life. APANO Members will also have access to special events.
We seek to have 100 formal members by Jan 1, 2009, please help us achieve our goal. You can join and pay online at www.apano.org. APANO is a non-profit, with a 501c3 application pending, and a fiscal sponsor to be determined, contributions are tax-deductible. Please note that this is separate from APANO-PAC (Political Action Committee), which is a separate organization with a 501c4 IRS registration.

Let’s eat and celebrate with music and poetry. For more information on this new book, the first in a series of three books, all out of Portland places familiar to us all, please see our website:www.coloredpencilsbooks.com. ”
