APANO is seeking applications for an Organizing Director position, consideration of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Position Title: Organizing Director
Reports To: Executive Director
Duration: Regular Position
Hours: 1.0 Full Time Equivalent (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $47,500 to $54,000 dependent upon experience plus benefits: 90% employer-paid medical, dental, vision and naturopathic health insurance, 401K plan with employer contribution, subsidized transit pass, data plan credit, paid professional development opportunities, paid time off starting at three weeks per year, seven paid holidays annually, and flexible family-friendly schedule.

Position Description:

APANO is seeking an experienced, motivated team member to oversee APANO’s youth, immigrant and neighborhood community organizing programs. The Organizing Director is part of the organization’s senior leadership, supporting a growing, seasoned team of member-leaders and paid organizers working to win concrete change in the lives of Asian and Pacific Islanders in Oregon, and in the larger world. The position provides big picture direction, support and integration for APANO’s organizing programs in support of long-term movement building goals. Our ideal candidate is a strong mentor, manager and strategic thinker who brings proven experience in grassroots organizing, political analysis and staff supervision. This position reports to the Executive Director and will supervise at least three other full-time staff.
