APANO’s annual fundraiser takes place in May each year as a celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Typically held on a Thursday or Friday evening, this always proves to be a delightful evening. We strive to increase our participation each year while providing a delicious meal, showcasing various local performers, sharing the work and wisdom of a notable API keynote speaker, sharing our Voices of Change Awards, and fundraising for our social justice work. We are always looking for sponsors for this event, so please contact us for more information. Planning for this event is a six month or more process, tasked to the Events Committee and Events Manager. All are welcome; tickets are required.
Every other year APANO produces a day-long statewide convention that offers workshops, networking opportunities, cultural performances, and at least one prestigious API keynote speaker. The day culminates in a banquet for all convention attendees. We are always looking for sponsors and partners for this event, so please contact us for more information. Planning for this event is a year-long process, tasked to the Events Committee and Events Manager. All are welcome; registration is required.
APANO’s member socials are an opportunity for members and prospective members to socialize, network, learn more about APANO’s programs, and find opportunities to get involved. We know that our work together is strengthened when we build community together and want to make regular space for new and long-standing members to connect with each other and with APANO. Member socials are planned and supported by staff, and are open to prospective members and current APANO members only. RSVP is preferred.
