Her work touches on communication design, community development, and front-end software development. She started work with the APANO’s Jade District, as a volunteer and freelance designer, and helped to build the community vision in the international community. Now, as Communications Associate at APANO, she will continue to build on the work this organization is doing by helping to design APANO’s communications to reach the AAPI communities and advocate for social justice across Oregon.
As Communications Associate, Shannon focuses on how the visual communications is carrying the messaging from our social justice and advocacy work. This work also helps boost APANO’s messaging through social media and other media streams to further spread our work across Oregon and beyond.
