In Conversation with Jo Ann Hardesty, President of NAACP Portland ChapterClimate change is forcing us to ask ourselves questions we never thought we’d have to – like how do you create art to represent a place that may not even exist 50 years from now? Kathy Jetn̄il-Kijiner, a climate justice activist and writer from the disappearing Marshall Islands highlights the impending threats of climate change, the traumas of colonialism, racism, forced migration, and the legacy of American nuclear testing.
