Position Title: Jade District Community Organizer
Reports To: Jade District Manager
Duration: Regular Position
Hours: .5 FTE (20 hours/week)
Compensation: $17,784 – $19,000 plus benefits: subsidized transit pass, cell phone credit, professional development opportunities and flexible family-friendly schedule. Accrued PTO of 3 weeks per year prorated based on start date.

About the Position:
APANO is looking for a motivated and culturally responsive Jade District Community Organizer to support the Jade District and community development and engagement efforts. We envision the position to promote long term, year-round participation and engagement within the community and on the issues critical to their well-being and empowerment. Supports the engagement of the Jade District communities through the implementation of coordinated, culturally competent and appropriate strategies. This individual will join a growing, seasoned team of community leaders and staff working to win concrete change in the lives of Asian and Pacific Islanders in Oregon, and the larger world.
