Jenny is a second generation Chinese-American and a current junior at Jesuit High School, where she strives to promote cultural awareness and education through the Asian Student Union. At Jesuit, she is also a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Student Council, which facilitates conversations between students and faculty centered around promoting an environment of growth and cultural awareness. 

She has experience working with local communities and advocating for marginalized groups through her role as a youth board member at Rose Haven, a day shelter in downtown Portland serving houseless individuals. Previously, she has served as a peer mental health advisor for the Oregon Chinese Coalition. Jenny is passionate about community engagement and social movements, specifically those focused on diversity and equity. She is excited to contribute to APANO as a Youth Organizer In-Training by engaging with its intersectional, justice-oriented focus. 

Outside of her advocacy and service work, Jenny enjoys spending time hiking outdoors and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, she loves to read and play the piano.
