Earned Sick Days Law Training

We are currently in need of two bilingual organizers to participate in a training for the Earned Sick Days Law. The commitment of the project is as follows:

We need bilingual interpreters who speak Vietnamese and Cantonese for a training on the Portland Earned Sick Days law. You can click here to learn more about the law.

The initial training with the trainers from the city will be on Monday, Sept 22 at 5:30pm at the Jade District office. You will be trained alongside other bilingual interpreters from APANO.

You will then attend a review session on that following Monday also at 5:30pm at the Jade District office. The review session will only be an hour.

Lastly, you will conduct this training at an APANO monthly meeting with the other bilingual organizers. We are still working out the details of when the meeting will be but we will let you know as soon as possible when that will be.

The entire duration of the project is 5 hours. All interpreters will be paid at $22 per hour.

If you have any questions about this project, please contact Communications and Projects Coordinator, Luann Algoso at luann@apano.org.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
