Join APANO's Board of Directors!

Serving on the APANO Board of Directors - application deadline March 15, 2015

Each year, APANO’s Nominating Committee outreaches to the APANO Membership to recruit new Board Members. As one of our Members who has pledged your support and commitment to APANO’s Mission, you are eligible to be nominated. New Board Members are scheduled to be elected at our June 13, 2015 Board Meeting.

Would you be interested in serving on the APANO Board?

APANO Board members provide the strategic leadership, governance and oversight for APANO, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization. The primary purpose of the Board is to ensure APANO carries out the strategic plan, crafts policies in support of our goals, employment of the Executive Director, and approves the annual budget and monitors the financial health of the organization. Day to day management and operations are led by our Executive Director Joseph Santos-Lyons.

The Board Term is for 3 years, with 5 half-day weekend meetings each year plus a full-day weekend retreat. Board Members are not compensated, however all travel and meal expenses are covered. Board service includes opportunities for public speaking, representing APANO at local and national events, and leadership training.

If you are interested, we invite you to complete a brief application, and contact Executive Director Rev. Joseph Santos-Lyons joseph@apano.org for more information. Applicants will be reviewed by the Board Development and Nominating Committee, and interviews will be set up for selected candidates.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
