Apply for the 2017 Climate, Health, and Housing Institute Fellowship

APANO is launching this six month Climate, Health, and Housing Institute (CHHI) fellowship (June-November 2017) to build our members' analysis, skills, and confidence to serve as community leaders. This Fellowship is intended for Asians and Pacific Islanders in Oregon. Content will focus on neighborhoods and communities in outer SE Portland. If accepted, participants will receive a full scholarship to pay for the full program. Apply Now.

The goals of the Climate, Health, and Housing Institute include:

  1. Building a collective analysis on the connections between and root causes of the housing crisis, climate change and community health.
  2. Gaining skills and confidence to organize and advocate for healthier, more resilient, and equitable neighborhoods.
  3. Identifying strategic leadership opportunities and be supported in their placement in these roles OR be prepared to join one of APANO's current organizing programs.


To participate in the program, each accepted fellow must attend all 6 workshop sessions listed:

Sat, Sept 16 (9am-1pm)
Sat, Oct 21 (9am-1pm)
Sat, Nov 18 (9am-1pm)

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
