We are seeking 15 homeowners to help bring this vision to life, so you can use energy from the sun to power your everyday activities. APANO’s grant will cover the costs of roof preparation, equipment, and installation of a 9-panel rooftop solar system on your home — and this entire system will be yours!

Community Solar Workshops

Do you want to receive benefits from solar energy and support a healthy environment? You can participate in community solar wherever you live, without needing your own solar panels or paying anything out of pocket! When you sign up for APANO’s community solar project as a low-income subscriber, you can get credits on your utility bill. For this specific program, eligibility is defined as 1) residing in Portland, 2) be a Pacific Power customer, and 3) qualify as low-income (households with an income that is 80% or less than the State Median Income). We encourage registrants to bring their electric bill.
