General Membership May 8th

Last month we had over 40 APANO members and friends join us for our new monthly meeting on the 2nd Thursday from 5:30-8:30pm at Harrison Park Elementary in Southeast Portland. Diana Pei Wu our Director of Organizing facilitated a group session gathering ideas for how we want to spend our community time together. Here are a few highlights (and send your own ideas to diana@apano.org):

  • Immigrant Rights and the Oregon Safe Roads (Drivers Card) Ballot Measure
  • Gender & Reproductive Justice workshop
  • Policy Forum to inform APANO's 2015 Legislative priorities
  • Know Your Rights workshop

We invite you to save your 2nd Thursdays each month to connect and engage with Asian & Pacific Islanders. It is the regular place for our members, friends and volunteers to gather. Our monthly meeting includes a community dinner at 5:30pm, with a joint program from 6-7pm. Our working groups meet after, and there is also an Intro to APANO workshop for newcomers. We close with a short group activity by 8:30pm.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
