Volunteer to help your neighbors during Covid-19

Sign up today to help our Jade District neighbors who can’t leave their homes during this time - including our elders, those living with chronic illness, and other neighbors in the Jade District who are at high risk. Help with delivering groceries, picking up supplies, helping people get their prescriptions, and more. Through mutual aid and support, we can fill the gaps and help each other in this time of need.

This list is being compiled by APANO to share with groups and community based organizations that are doing mutual aid work around COVID-19 for our neighbors within and adjacent to the Jade District. (For example, organizations like Meals on Wheels who have recently suffered a shortage of volunteers due to the coronavirus outbreak and are in need.) We'll also be organizing requests from our own neighbors and residents in the Jade District. The Jade District is a neighborhood in SE Portland at the intersection of SE 82nd Ave. and SE Division St.

Risks and best practices will be discussed before any work is done. People over 50 and people with underlying conditions should be especially cautious in these times, so this option will not be right for everyone. Please do whatever you must to remain well.

Live in the Jade District and would like to request assistance? We'll have an intake form posted soon!

In the meantime, sign up to volunteer!

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
