Voter Outreach Training & Education (VOTE) Network

A forum for understanding community needs, increasing cooperation and building collective power to improve the lives of AANHPI communities in Oregon.

We recognize that when working together, we can form meaningful partnerships to address the needs of our diverse communities. The VOTE Network ensures that the leaders and voices of our vibrant communities are deeply involved in our efforts.

The VOTE Network aims to create a regular forum for understanding community needs, increasing cooperation and building collective power to improve the lives of AANHPI communities in Oregon. The Network is also an infrastructure for providing leadership training, raising financial resources to support local organizing and building a movement for our communities. Our goals:

- Leadership Development & Organizational Capacity Building
- Community Partnership & Relationship Building
VOTE Network Members get additional support for advocacy and civic engagement activities, including:
- Sponsorship and grant support for your community organization
- First-hand access to APANO volunteer opportunities
- Voter registration and voter education for your community
- Participate with APANO Electoral and Endorsement Committees
- Collective relationship building with Asian American, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander leaders, electeds, funders and policymakers
- Priority access to leadership development and trainings
- Opportunities in the integrated voter engagement cycle
- Strategic planning for base building, campaign development, legislative issues, and voter engagement
- Affiliation with statewide and national networks to leverage for local and regional funding support
- VOTE Network re-grant opportunities for advocacy and civic engagement projects
- Access to Voter Action Network databases for data management, voter history, and online event management
