The Field Manager leads the development and implementation of APANO’s political and electoral work. They will build political power to ensure we win during elections and sustain successful grassroots campaigns beyond Election Day. The Field Manager will work with members, volunteers, and other community partners to collaborate on turnout and participation in campaigns where APANO is involved. They will help implement a field program, represent APANO at some policy and electoral campaign coalitions, and support efforts to grow APANO’s political membership base. The Field Manager should be organized, metrics-based, energetic, and capable of motivating and managing volunteers and data.

Starting Compensation range: $84,000-$103,000

THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking three Co-Executive Directors to be part of an executive team that will lead highly dedicated community organizers and social justice advocates to advance APANO CUF and APANO’s vision, mission, and values. You will work in a distributed leadership model, in close partnership with the Director Team, to implement policies and strategic direction set by the c3 and c4 staff and Boards of Directors. You will help facilitate the organization’s ongoing adaptation and implementation of this new leadership model, which was jointly approved by board and staff members in December 2020. The three available positions on the Co-Executive Director team include:
● Co-Executive Director of Programs
● Co-Executive Director of Culture and Communications
● Co-Executive Director of Finance, Operations, and Development
Together, the Co-Executive Director team will be responsible for overseeing and supporting all aspects of the organization including staff and program management, financial management, human resources, administration, and strengthening existing partnerships. Position Description: The Director of Finance provides strategic leadership for fiscal management, tracking, accounting, and risk management. The Director has day-to-day responsibility for managing the organization’s financial records, recording fiscal activities, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for payables and receivables, and coordinating annual audits/financial reviews with our auditor. This individual will join a growing, seasoned team of member-leaders and staff working to win concrete change in the lives of Asian and Pacific Islanders in Oregon and beyond.

About the Position: APANO is looking for an individual who is passionate about working with and has strong cultural familiarity with the API community to guide entrepreneurship development and to elevate our community through economic empowerment. The Business Advisor is responsible for case managing community members that wish to own, develop and grow their own small business. The focus for many businesses will include navigating the impacts of the COVID-19 public health crisis and the Business Advisor will connect business owners to resources, advise on stability and recovery efforts, and help business owners adapt their business to the post-COVID environment. This individual will join a growing, seasoned team of member-leaders and staff working to win concrete change in the lives of Asian and Pacific Islanders in Oregon, and the larger world.
Our ideal candidate has experience working within diverse populations, likes people and is great at guiding them through business processes and connecting them with resources and experts. The Business Advisor reports to the Community Development Director, and has no supervisory responsibilities.
